Sitepoint October 2011 - January 2013

I was hired at Sitepoint to maintain their large selection of WordPress websites, as well as design and build new ones. We eventually consolidated the network into one website, which I also was key in during the design phase. I also worked on several internal products working closely with the CEO and Director on a handful of projects.

Freelance Designer & Developer

User Experience Design

General Assembly 2015

I took the General Assemlby User Experience Design course to supplement my existing UX knowledge, skills and experience. I learnt a wider UX process, user research and testing methods, and how to apply the results to products.

Continuous Learning

Self Taught 2005 - Present

Since 2005 my passion for web design and development has driven my learning. I have taught myself several coding languages covering many frameworks. I am always self-improving and staying up to date with the latest and greatest. I use a variety of online courses, sites, tutorials, books and blogs to keep my knowledge fresh, new and full.

Certificate II in Design

TAFE Design School 2009

At TAFE we were taught the ins and outs of a variety of design software including Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Although I was already proficient in PS/Illustrator, learning about the design process was invaluable.

Digital Art Scholarship

National Art School, Sydney 2010

My body of work in Visual Arts won me a scholarship to a digital art course, which was fantastic to use tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator for a purely artistic purpose instead of designing for the user.

Higher School Certificate

International Grammar School 2010

At highschool I studied Design & Technology, Visual Arts, French, Spanish and English. I loved my languages, and am fluent in French with intermediate Spanish. My photographic body of work for Visual Arts was selected from the top 1% of NSW to be showcased in the National Art Gallery of NSW, and have since sold several prints of my work.
